The PB has 2.0amps of power and is eminently portable. If you’re building a system, you can’t go too far wrong with these cases, they stack beautifully together in the studio and are always ready to go with their flight case type build. Inside the removable cover there is sufficient space to carry the system completely patched or to move patch cords and the power cable.
From the Doepfer website….
This is the “small brother” of the monster base A-100PMB. It is very similar to the A-100PMB but has only half the width (2 x 84 HP for installation of modules). The suitcase versions A-100P6 or A-100P9 can be positioned on top of the A-100PB because the width of the A-100PB is a bit more than the width of A-100P6/P9 and the footprint of the A-100PB is adapted to the depth of A-100P6/P9. A-100PB is equipped with one power supply (2000MA PSU3) and two bus boards. The bus boards are located in the rear area (even those for the modules that are mounted in the front row). This was necessary to take advantage of the full height of the front area for installation of A-100 modules.
outside: approx. 510 (width) x 210 (height) x 420 (depth) mm
inside: 2 x 84 HP x 3 U
usable depth for A-100 modules front row: approx. 70 mm
usable depth for A-100 modules rear row: approx. 90 mm
Weight (without modules): about 9kg
mains voltage: 230V
output voltages/current: +12V/2000mA, -12V/2000mA, +5V/4000mA
